What are the new LEGO® parts in August 2026 sets? (2026)

Your wallet just rolled its eyes at another August LEGO drop. The bank account will feel the pinch when you realize the new parts list adds up to 941 fresh elements.

New Element Alert New Element Alert – that’s the headline from New Elementary’s latest post. The site has compiled a spreadsheet of every brand‑new LEGO piece that appears across the August 2026 releases. Nine‑hundred‑plus new parts is a hefty tally for a single month, and it tells you two things: LEGO’s design pipeline is humming, and the collector in you is about to get a lot of new building options.

The biggest chunk of the list comes from the LEGO® Pokémon SMART Play™ line. Those sets are only shipping in the US, UK, Australia, Germany, France and Poland, which means the bulk of the fresh elements are locked behind regional barriers. If you’re in India, you’ll have to rely on the grey market or hope a local retailer decides to import them.

A quick glance at the spreadsheet shows a mix of functional and decorative pieces – new printed tiles, a handful of motorised components, a couple of uniquely shaped windows, and a set of custom minifigure accessories that look like they were ripped straight from a Pokémon battle. The variety should please both the technophile who loves motorised builds and the MOC‑enthusiast hunting for that perfect niche part.

What does this mean for you? If you’re building your own Pokémon‑themed MOC, you now have a pantry of fresh parts to pull from. If you’re a collector, you might see a spike in secondary‑market prices for the SMART Play sets, especially since they’re not officially stocked here. Keep an eye on local brick‑deal groups; sometimes a lucky importer shows up with a handful of those exclusive pieces.

Remember, the new parts are not yet listed on any Indian LEGO store page, and there’s no official MSRP for them locally. Until LEGO decides to bring these pieces to the Indian market, the only route is through import or an enthusiast’s stash.

No Indian store prices yet. Check MyBrickHouse for availability. Check Toycra for availability. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500. If this were officially sold in India, it would cost roughly the same as 18 months of Netflix. On that bombshell, it's time to say goodbye. I'll see you on the next one. Bubyee.

Verdict: IMPORT ONLY. Not in Indian stores — grey market or wait.
