New Moulds Spotted in LEGO Pokémon SMART Play™ Sets Coming August 2026 (Set 2026)

LEGO dropped a hint about upcoming Pokémon sets, and it's got the rumour mill churning. New Elementary is reporting on a wave of LEGO Pokémon SMART Play™ sets scheduled for August 2026. The catch? They're only launching in the US, UK, Australia, Germany, France, and Poland. That means for us in India, it's going to be a case of waiting and watching.

This initial report focuses on new moulds appearing across fifteen sets. We're talking about new pieces designed specifically for the Pokémon universe, which is always exciting for fans who love seeing fresh brick elements. While specific set names and numbers aren't detailed yet, the sheer mention of new moulds suggests LEGO is investing in this theme. Fifteen sets is a substantial wave, hinting at a range of display pieces, play features, and maybe even some buildable creatures.

The SMART Play™ branding also suggests interactive elements, possibly leveraging technology or unique building techniques. However, without concrete details on what these sets actually are, it's hard to say much more. We don't have any official Indian release dates or pricing information. This is typical for LEGO releases that initially skip the Indian market. It usually means a significant wait.

The absence of an official Indian launch means you'll likely have to rely on unofficial channels if you absolutely must have these sets on day one. This route always comes with its own set of risks and inflated prices. For most, it will be wiser to wait and see if LEGO India decides to bring these over later. History suggests some waves do eventually make their way here, but it can take months.

Keep an eye on MyBrickHouse and Toycra for potential grey market imports, but anticipate a 4–6 week lag from global launch if they do appear. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500.

The focus on new moulds is a strong indicator that LEGO is committed to the Pokémon line. Whether these sets will eventually reach Indian shores remains to be seen. For now, it's a case of observing from afar.

On that bombshell, it's time to say goodbye. I'll see you on the next one. Bubyee.

Verdict: IMPORT ONLY. Not in Indian stores — grey market or wait.
