LEGO Wednesday Sets (2026): Nevermore Academy and Wednesday Addams Minifigure Incoming!

LEGO has finally confirmed two new sets based on the hit Netflix series Wednesday, slated for an October 2026 release. This is big news for fans who have been hoping for more Addams Family representation in brick form. The most significant reveal is the introduction of the very first Wednesday Addams minifigure, set to debut in the 76788 Nevermore Academy set. Previous waves of LEGO Wednesday content have featured minidolls, so this shift to a proper minifigure is a welcome change for many.

Both sets, 76788 Nevermore Academy and 76787 Wednesday Backpack, are scheduled to launch on October 1, 2026. This timing is perfect, offering fans a treat just before the Halloween season. With Season 3 of the Netflix series currently in production, these new sets should help keep the hype alive until the new episodes arrive.

The 76788 Nevermore Academy set, a substantial build with 890 pieces, will retail for US$69.99. The accompanying 76787 Wednesday Backpack, a smaller accessory set with 401 pieces, is priced at US$44.99. These prices suggest a potential interest in accessory-style builds alongside larger display pieces within the theme.

Unfortunately, as of now, there are no official Indian retail prices or confirmed availability dates for these sets in India. This means that for Indian fans eager to get their hands on these new Wednesday-themed LEGO creations, importing them will likely be the only option. The absence of official distribution channels means a significant wait and potential price inflation through unofficial channels.

These are estimated import prices and not confirmed India retail prices. Currently, these sets are not available at official Indian retailers like Toycra or MyBrickHouse. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500. Expect a 4–6 week lag from global launch if they are eventually stocked. If these were officially sold, that estimated price for the Academy set would cover about 3 months of Spotify Premium Family Plan.

The decision to finally include a Wednesday Addams minifigure is a smart move by LEGO, catering directly to fan demand and the evolving nature of the franchise. Whether these sets will eventually see official release in India remains to be seen, but for now, fans will have to rely on international markets and the grey import scene.

On that bombshell, it's time to say goodbye. I'll see you on the next one. Bubyee.

Verdict: IMPORT ONLY. Not in Indian stores — grey market or wait.

Updated 1 Oct 2026: estimated price removed; official Indian pricing not yet announced.
