LEGO Eta-2 Actis Jedi Starfighter: Brick-Built Cockpit Details Emerge

The Brothers Brick dropped a new article today, detailing a brick-built LEGO Eta-2 Actis-class light interceptor. This isn't your standard LEGO build; it features a fully brick-built cockpit, moving away from the printed versions we've seen before. Apparently, LEGO designers have been cooking up some clever SNOT (Studs Not On Top) brick techniques to construct the thick, detailed wings.

One standout detail highlighted is the use of a flexible stretcher holder piece for the cockpit. This is a neat trick that adds a layer of intricate detail not usually found in sets of this type. The article also hints at an impressive wing deployment mechanism, suggesting this model isn't just for display but might have some play features as well. It's described as being so detailed, the fictional Separatist flagship, the Invisible Hand, wouldn't stand a chance against it.

While this specific set number isn't confirmed in the source, the focus on detailed, brick-built elements suggests a potential new entry for Star Wars fans. Given LEGO's history with Jedi Starfighters, this new approach to construction could signal a significant upgrade in design quality. The Brothers Brick article, published on September 13, 2026, seems to be showcasing a fan-built or prototype model, as no official set number or release date is mentioned. This means we are in that familiar waiting game.

No specific Indian pricing or availability information is available yet. Based on the US retail price of similar detailed Star Wars sets, expect this to land at a price point that will require some serious consideration. It’s likely to be a significant investment, perhaps comparable to several months of a high-tier streaming subscription. Keep an eye on MyBrickHouse and Toycra for any official announcements or potential imports once details surface. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500.

No Indian store prices yet. MyBrickHouse and Toycra are the stores to watch for future availability. Expect a 4–6 week lag from global launch if it gets an official release.

It’s always exciting to see LEGO push the boundaries with construction techniques, especially on beloved ships like the Jedi Starfighter. The emphasis on a brick-built cockpit and clever wing assembly sounds like a promising development for adult collectors and dedicated fans of the prequel trilogy. We’ll have to wait and see if this becomes an official release, but the innovation shown is definitely worth noting. On that bombshell, it's time to say goodbye. I'll see you on the next one. Bubyee.
