LEGO Duel of the Fates Diorama is a 15,000-Brick Masterpiece

Kyle Collard has done it again. After last year's epic diorama that made our best-of list, he's returned with another Star Wars masterpiece. This time, it's the iconic Duel of the Fates from the end of The Phantom Menace. You know, the one where Obi-Wan watches helplessly as Qui-Gon gets… well, you know.

This build is just shy of 15,000 LEGO bricks, which sounds like a lot, but Collard apparently used 'only' that many, implying it could have been more. The construction took six months of dedicated effort. It captures that pivotal moment where the fate of the galaxy hung in the balance. The atmosphere is incredible, enhanced by integrated LEDs that bring the scene to life. Collard's building techniques are, as usual, top-notch, creating a display that's both visually stunning and emotionally resonant for any Star Wars fan.

This diorama wasn't just a personal project; it won Collard another award at Texas' Brick Rodeo, securing his Best Star Wars Scene title for the second year running. It’s proof of the power of LEGO bricks to recreate even the most dramatic moments from our favourite stories.

No official LEGO set number has been associated with this fan build, so don't expect to find it on store shelves anytime soon. This is pure MOC (My Own Creation) magic.

While no official LEGO set number exists for this incredible fan build, and thus no direct Indian pricing, a creation of this scale and detail would likely command a significant sum if it were ever to be produced. Imagine the cost of 15,000 unique bricks – it would easily be enough for 10 months of Spotify Premium Family Plan. MyBrickHouse and Toycra are the go-to places for official LEGO sets, but for MOCs like this, you're looking at the grey market or the sheer satisfaction of building your own. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500.

This diorama is a reminder of the incredible creativity within the LEGO community. It's a piece that fans of Star Wars and LEGO alike would admire, showcasing what's possible with enough bricks, time, and dedication.

Verdict: WAIT — check prices at MyBrickHouse and Toycra before pulling the trigger.

On that bombshell, bubyee.
