LEGO Architecture Sagrada Família (21065) Revealed

The LEGO Architecture line has a new titan, and it’s coming for your wallet. The Sagrada Família set, number 21065, has officially landed with a price tag that makes you pause. This isn't a small brick build; it's a sprawling architectural marvel designed to capture Gaudí's unfinished masterpiece. Brickset’s latest news roundup confirms the set’s existence and its substantial piece count.

This set promises a challenging and rewarding build for dedicated LEGO fans. The detail involved in recreating the Sagrada Família's intricate facades and soaring spires is expected to be immense. Think thousands of pieces, complex building techniques, and a final model that demands display space. It’s the kind of set that requires commitment, both in terms of time and financial outlay.

While the global release has happened, Indian fans are in that familiar holding pattern. The official MRP from LEGO India is set at a considerable ₹76,400. This places it firmly in the premium collector's category. For comparison, that’s enough to buy 1528 litres of petrol in Delhi or enough for 10 months of a family-sized Netflix subscription. This isn’t a purchase for the faint of heart, or the light of wallet.

At ₹76,400 (official MRP), that's 10 months of Netflix Premium or 1528 litres of petrol. Toycra and MyBrickHouse will likely list this set within 4–6 weeks of the global launch. Code ABHINAV12 takes 12% off full-price sets at Toycra, minimum order ₹500. Check their sites for updates.

Brickset highlights this set alongside other significant reveals like the Executor Super Star Destroyer and the Astro Bot. The Sagrada Família, however, stands out for its architectural significance and the challenge it presents. It’s a set that appeals to fans of architecture, intricate builds, and those who appreciate detailed replicas of real-world landmarks. The sheer scale and complexity mean it’s a long-term project, not a weekend build. Waiting for a potential discount or a more favourable store price might be the sensible move, especially given the initial MRP.

On that bombshell, it's time to say goodbye. I'll see you on the next one. Bubyee.

Verdict: WAIT. Good set, but the price will drop.
